He’s a bit like a work experience boy at the moment filling in here and there with the jobs that need doing, but BBC Radio 1 have finally given Matt Edmondson his own show!
As part of the changes to the station today Huw Stephens will be leaving the new music show that he presents between 9pm and 10pm on a Wednesday night, freeing up a space for Matt.
His show promises to be “new and exciting” and will start in April 2011.
Matt is no stranger to presenting shows at BBC Radio 1 having filled in for Sara Cox during her maternity leave, and regularly covering for presenters at the weekend since.20
